How to get coverage from me on your game
Hi there! I’m Ember, a Twitch streamer and content creator that likes to explore all kinds of games from hidden indie gems to the larger titles as well. When I cover games, my goal is simple: to give honest first impressions and help more players discover interesting and possibly underrated titles that deserve some love and attention. With dabbling in game development myself (and working as a web developer as well), I really appreciate how difficult the journey can be and I’d like to try and make that a little easier for you.
If you’re a developer looking to have your game featured on my channel, here’s how I currently handle all coverage:
What coverage includes
Coverage through a review key includes at least one hour of live gameplay on my Twitch channel, with the full session later uploaded to my VODs YouTube channel.
If any standout or funny moments happen during the stream, they will be featured as clips on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram.
All coverage is completely free as I don’t charge for streams or videos nor would I ever wish to. I just ask for a review key so that I can do a first impression of playing your game. My goal is to help show off your game in a way that feels natural, unbiased, and fresh so that my viewers can see how the game feels to play.
Future goals
In the future, I’m thinking of offering a couple of paid packages for developers that might want something a little extra, for example extended coverage, follow-up content, or possibly short content being specially made. I want to put some thought into this and what it would include to make sure it provides something valuable for developers whilst also staying true to what I know I can deliver. If you have any feedback or suggestions for this, please let me know as I’m always taking on board new ideas!
A note of thanks
I really do appreciate every single developer that’s trusted me with their game so far. It means so much to be given the opportunity to experience everyone’s hard work and share it with a community I’ve built up over time.
If you’d like to discuss coverage or send over a key, please reach out, I’d love to hear from you!
Most developers email me via embershadow2019@gmail.com but you can also reach me on Twitter/X if you’d prefer (embershadow2) or on Discord (embershadow).
